Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, treatments, gift voucher purchases, and use of services at Anima (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By making a booking, visiting our space, or purchasing a product or voucher, you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings

2.1 How to Book

Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person.
A confirmation email or SMS will be sent once your booking is secured.

2.2 Booking Confirmation

Some rituals may require a deposit or prepayment.
If payment is required at booking, your appointment is not confirmed until payment is received.

2.3 Appointment Reminders

Reminder notifications are sent as a courtesy.
You remain responsible for remembering your appointment time.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

3.1 Cancellation Policy

To protect the time and income of our therapists, the following applies:

  • Cancellations or changes with less than 24 hours’ notice:
    50% of the treatment fee may be charged.
  • No-shows:
    The full treatment fee may be charged.

3.2 Late Arrivals

Arriving late reduces the length of your treatment in order to honour the next guest’s appointment.
Full fees still apply.

4. Health, Safety & Suitability

4.1 Health Information

For your safety, we may ask for relevant health details such as:
pregnancy, allergies, skin conditions, injuries, or medical concerns.

You agree that all information provided is accurate and complete.

4.2 Suitability

We reserve the right to decline or modify a treatment if:

  • it is unsafe or contraindicated
  • it may worsen a condition
  • you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • hygiene or behaviour standards are not met

4.3 Pregnancy & Medical Conditions

Please notify us at the time of booking if you are pregnant or have a medical condition.
Some rituals may require adaptations or may not be suitable.

5. Gift Vouchers

  • Valid for 3 years from the date of purchase
  • Redeemable for any service unless otherwise stated
  • Not refundable or redeemable for cash
  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced
  • Digital vouchers are delivered via email; physical vouchers can be collected onsite
  • Bookings using vouchers must follow the same cancellation policy

6. Pricing & Payments

6.1 Prices

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and may change without notice.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept card payments, online payments, and valid gift vouchers.
Full payment is required at the end of your appointment unless prepaid.

7. Arrival & Conduct

7.1 Arrival Time

Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and complete any necessary consultation forms.

7.2 Behaviour

We maintain a calm, respectful environment.
Aggressive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated and may result in the termination of your appointment.

8. Personal Belongings

We take care to maintain a safe environment but are not responsible for loss or damage of personal items brought into the space.

9. Photography & Devices

We kindly ask guests to keep phones on silent to preserve stillness for all visitors.
Photography inside the treatment space may be restricted.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Anima is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from inaccurate health information provided by the guest
  • Guests participate in treatments and Elemental Bathing at their own risk
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights under Australian Consumer Law

11. Changes to Services

We may update or modify treatments, pricing, operating hours, or policies at any time.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
